On Tuesday 9 May 2017, the Treasurer, Scott Morrison, released the Government’s 2017-18 Budget.
This year’s Budget won’t significantly impact retirees; however, there were plenty of changes announced that could affect you.
It’s important to note that at this point in time, these proposed measures are not yet law and may be subject to change. We have included a summary of these changes, and please let us know if you have any questions regarding these changes and how they may affect you.
As mentioned in our last newsletter, our new website is now up and running. We are very pleased with the results and we’re sure that you will find it more informative and interactive than the previous version.

We hope you enjoy all the information contained within the website and we will also be sending out instructions shortly on how you can use the website to communicate with us.
Finally, we are still running our series of boardroom briefings throughout May and June to discuss the changes that are occurring to Superannuation on the 1st July 2017, and what strategies you may need to consider before these changes take effect.
